What you need
Recording length: supports recordings up to approximately 2 hours. Longer recordings should be split into shorter segments.
Steps
- Upload a recording (audio or video).
- The server compresses and transcribes it. Short recordings (under 30 minutes) usually finish in a minute or two. Longer recordings may take several minutes. Recordings over an hour can take up to 20 minutes.
- When more than one voice is detected, the transcript is labelled with Speaker 1, Speaker 2, and so on.
- Download the transcript or continue to Data Cleaning.
How your data is handled
- Your recording is sent to Gladia (France-hosted) for transcription and speaker detection
- Zero Data Retention — audio is processed in memory and never stored by Gladia
- All files are automatically deleted from our server after 1 hour
